Another session of Homeschool meet-up group is around the corner and we have spaces open. Students ages 4-10 are welcome to join our Tuesday and Thursday activities 9 am – 3 pm.
How do children practice yoga? Take a look and see.
Homeschool learning group will restart May 1st and we can’t wait to welcome you back. This month we will learn about seasons with a special focus on the rainy season.
For Registration check our Homeschool Page.
We’ve opened up our garden to IWICA, Thailand’s premier Chess and Robotics school for a fun filled week of Tech camp April 23-27.
We believe in hands-on multifaceted approaches to learning and know that not every child is the same. So, while arts and yoga may be right up your child’s alley, chess and robotics offers another approach to the interest based activities we love sharing with our community. IWICA provides unique opportunities for youngsters to develop math and science skills while gleaning programming experience that is timely and fun.
Trial classesTo give you a little taste of what’s in store we are opening up our doors for 2 FREE CHESS AND ROBOTICS TRIAL CLASSES. These will take place Thursday April 26 and Saturday April 28th from 5-7 pm. Members have priority in our registration but each class has a limit of 10 students. Please RSVP to this email with the preferred date, name of student, and their age to secure their place in these classes. |
You get magic in the form of breath and conscious interaction, strength and flexibility with some of our favorite dynamic asanas, calmness and coolness with rainbow scarf meditations.
These little yogis are living proof that yoga doesn’t require individual mats, fancy stretch pants or expert positioning. Each of us are on a unique and precious journey. When we take time to arrive into the living moment of now, we create the space to see and be seen. We allow ourselves the opportunity to grow.
Thanks East Meets West for having us and allowing us the chance to share our imaginations and hearts with you!

We are proud to present our summer camp schedule for 2018. This year we have dates for all the students around Chiang Mai, whether you are on the international or Thai schedule there’s a week just for you!
Ages 3-10 are welcome to join these thematic inquiries into English language with a focus on creativity and hands on learning!
For a sample of our daily schedule and more information, check out our Summer Program tab.
Our homeschool group has been hard at work developing their practical math skills, including estimation, inventory and calculations. So this past weekend, some of the homeschool learners joined with Nic’s Restaurant to take part in the Kid’s Flea Market at their 6th Anniversary celebration. The girls sold a plethora of second-hand items from home including books, games, old toys and clothes with some help from parents.
The day was full of negotiations, laughter and lots of learning (next time we will bring a bigger tarp, and shoes that can get muddy!) By the end of the day our hands were lighter and wallets a bit fatter. We are super proud of our young entrepreneurs and excited for our next opportunities to practice these skills. Already this week there has been talk of halloween costume creation, where to shop for materials and how to get it to market! Excellent enthusiasm captured by one of our garden photographer friends.
We would love to invite you for a morning time explosion of flavor and fun with Pam Pimmas, the creator of wowpam.com and former owner of The Dorm Bakery in Chiang Mai. On August 27th we’ll be having a donut making workshop from 10- 12 pm, students ages 3-12 are welcome to join. Space is limited so please contact us to reserve your space.
Pam is a truly passionate baker and being that brings excitement and enthusiasm to her craft, we hope you can join us for this special event. Check out photos from her last visit to Kids Yoga Garden here.
We also want to remind everyone we will be off for the first week of September. Weekend camp will resume September 9th and 10th and we hope to see you then!
