Holiday Craft Camp
Let’s use less cash and more creativity this holiday season! Expose your children to the magic of their own imagination as we gather to create gifts, cards and movements that carry the cheer of the season with a smaller ecological footprint.
This craft camp will include tutorials on how to make 100% natural soap, DIY gift wrap, recycled snow globes, ornaments, cider, cookies in a jar and much more!
As always there will also be plenty of movement by the way of yoga, dancing and even Thai boxing. We will exercise our inner performers with drama, music and storytelling activities incorporating different traditions from around the globe.
And we’ll round it all off with a celebration on the final day!
Ages 3 -12 welcome

Limit: 9 children per age group
October Break Camp

We’ve got a whole lot of fun lined up for your child’s October breaks! Join us starting September 25 onwards for explorations of Tinker Transportation, Wild Weather, Mindfulness for Minis and Halloween Harvest. We will be joined by our buddies at Auntie Orn’s Organic Cooking and some other very special facilitators for special subjects and sustainability.
End of the month sweetness

We would love to invite you for a morning time explosion of flavor and fun with Pam Pimmas, the creator of wowpam.com and former owner of The Dorm Bakery in Chiang Mai. On August 27th we’ll be having a donut making workshop from 10- 12 pm, students ages 3-12 are welcome to join. Space is limited so please contact us to reserve your space.
Pam is a truly passionate baker and being that brings excitement and enthusiasm to her craft, we hope you can join us for this special event. Check out photos from her last visit to Kids Yoga Garden here.

We also want to remind everyone we will be off for the first week of September. Weekend camp will resume September 9th and 10th and we hope to see you then!

July Updates

Skill Share
Tuesdays and Thursdays at the garden we host a homeschool meet up group with some vibrant international kids with a lot of secret talents. During our Skill Share classes, students step into the role of facilitator and create a class for their peers. This involves writing a lesson plan, executing it, and receiving feedback on their leadership. Throughout the process, children are encouraged to develop empathy and understanding for their peers, whether they are the ones teaching or being taught. It’s a pure and simple example of creative growth that we love holding space for.
This month we were treated to tutorials in bow and arrow making, Chinese fortune teller oragami, dance, facial sketching, balloon car making, and Pokemon molding.
Our homeschool group is on a brief hiatus for summer camp but open again in August 2017. Space is limited to 8 participants, registration open now.
A week at the beach
We had some excellent helpers in our garden last week getting messy with sand and exploring all areas of beach life. We hope you enjoyed our sand cake, ocean in a bottle, sandpaper art, and our very favorite “Puffer fish pose.”
Thank you for your smiles!
What a wonderful celebration of our opening. Thank you friends for filling our day with delicious food, activities, batgirls, ponies, Spiderman and so much more.
We’ll see you soon!
